If you read the London Telegraph piece you know that bloggers like me are thought to be responsible for the malaise in the U.S.  I just looked at the statistics on readers of this rant and I am amazed!!  It seems that over a 1,000 people around the world read this diatribe at least once a month during the last twelve months.  Since nobody ever comments, I thought I was just shouting in the dark.

In any case, I am a registered independent and I don't think I have a Republican or Democrat view of the world.  But when I do see something that is clearly wrong, I want to get the facts and work out a fix for the problem.
